After a long pandemic lockdown, summer 2021 was set to be wild. So the morning after July 4th, we launched our own holiday — Rehydration Day. We created smartwater-filled kegs for oversized hangovers and tapped Pete Davidson to bring the idea to life. Activations in NYC and LA turned it into a coast-to-coast moment. The result? $23M in summer sales, a 31% boost in brand relevance, and a viral win for smartwater.
